Team Events to facilitate team building
Our team events have the purpose of facilitating team building as part of your organisational development programme. We offer intelligent team building, which focuses on habit and belief changing interventions. Our solutions are sustainable and relevant to your business. We want to help your team to make the step from good to extraordinary.
We do not offer jolly days out, we do not wear fat suits for sumo wrestling and we do not throw things at each other. Instead at our team events we use stories, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), coaching, our ears and eyes, a lot of prodding and poking, but no stabbing in the dark. And we also use music, performance and singing to demonstrate the art of Leadership, the significance of feedback and the importance of working as a team.
One day Team Events
We normally design a one day programme for teams up to 40 delegates. Typically the morning consists of sessions and workshops with the entire team or smaller groups to find out where they are, what they are expecting and what they do.
Depending on what Learning Outcomes you have agreed with us in advance, we pick up on any blockers, limiting beliefs, shoulds and can’ts, that are in the way of developing an extraordinary team.
Each time we unearth a blocker, we play it back to the individual or group in a playful yet challenging way and discover together, how it could be different. We use anecdotes, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) models, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), and coaching to break through some of those less useful beliefs. We of course also pick up the useful beliefs and demonstrate their benefits.
At our team events there will be various exercises and tasks to complete for your team members, which have a relevance to the learning outcomes and your business.
After lunch, we are joined by a team of talented musicians and singing coaches, who will be teaching your team a classical piece of music within 2-3 hours, harmonies and all!
We use the performance metaphor to set an example of how, with constant feedback and coaching, excellence can be achieved. The delegates will experience, that knowing the words and notes alone, does not make an inspiring performance. It’s the committing to it fully, stepping into the characters and working as a team, plus having the right attitudes and beliefs.
During this session every single learning point is translated back into the business, so that the learning does not remain something we did on a jolly day out, but that it has tangible application to their day-to-day performance as a team.
After this session there will be a final workshop to re-enforce the learning points in line with the learning outcomes and it is explored how this experience can become part of their work life on an on-going basis.

90 minute keynote sessions
We currently offer 4 keynote conference sessions, which are aimed at larger audiences. Each session has a focus on one particular subject:
- Team Communication
These sessions are thought provoking and engaging and use jazz, music and performance to playfully and cleverly explore the themes.
Who would have thought that singing and performance could teach us to consider the way we lead? Well, it certainly did! I have not ever been on anything so inspiring and challenging.
